Eliza walked along the beach, the sand cool and smooth beneath her feet. The ocean breeze whipped through her hair, carrying the salty scent of the sea. She watched the waves crash against the shore, each one a rhythmic pulse of nature's power. It soothed her, this place. She felt a peacefulness she hadn't known she could hold. She’d found what she was looking for. She felt the urge to share it with someone. Her phone vibrated in her pocket.

She pulled it out and frowned. She didn't often check her email when she was at the beach, but there was a new message from her agent. Her heart sank slightly. She opened the email, reading the words. "Your article on mindfulness has been published… under the name of..." Eliza's breath caught in her throat. She re-read the sentence. The name was wrong. Her article, stolen. A knot formed in her stomach.
